The Guardians of the Ancient Wisdom were active between 1981 and 1983.

This lavish 2-LP set pulls together everything the band ever recorded. There is the first session produced by the Mad Professor that gives us two versions of - The Count - the original and the Dub Mix. This is augmented by rehearsals and music from their debut gig at Four Corners in Bethnal Green, East London. Added to this is the disastrous gig where they were bottled of the stage in Upminster.

The 2-LP set comes with a free CD as well as a page colour booklet detailing the rise and fall of a band that threw Marc Bolan, Joy Division, Bauhaus and punk attitude into the mix.

This LP was released in 2015 and limited to 300 copies that quickly sold out.

Like a vampire, these last copies were found lying underground - in a dry room - and when they are gone - the bats have fled!
