First Release - 7" by The Earth - classic blues rock from 1968

OM Swagger are proud to announce their debut release.

This is a 7” single by The Earth. This blues rock band had a line-up of Ian Harris (vocals), Alan Parsons (guitar), Roy Quilley (organ) and Barry Mitchell (bass). Serving up a rich brew of blues rock The Earth enjoyed a residency at the Coffin Club in London’s Soho in 1968 where they honed their craft. The band recorded an album’s worth of material in Regents Sound before splitting up with Mitchell going on to become the original bass player with Queen and Alan Parsons moving onto international fame and recognition.

The lost Earth LP was finally issued by Ian Shirley through Record Collector magazine in 2015 as a limited edition of 500 copies.

That LP is sold out.

Miseducation is taken from that LP and the B-side Song For Katherine is an unreleased track from those LP sessions that has never been heard before.

This single comes in a hand-folded sleeve, with a sticker, 2 postcards and is limited to 500 copies.
